The 2019 Martinet Bru was also bottled and ready for tasting, so I tasted it next to the 2018. The only difference is that this year they used a small amount of very young Garnacha. 2019 was a warmer and drier year than 2018. The fruit ripened earlier and shows explosive. It's a year of generous expression a positive, happy year. The wine is immediate, approachable and gentle, with very fine tannins. 56,000 bottles, 1,078 magnums and some larger formats produced. It was bottled in November 2020, a few days before I tasted it, yet the wine was very harmonious.
