Winemaker

First planted in the 14th century, this vineyard is now 10 hectares and is owned by Charles Leymarie & Sons, in the wine business since 1878. The blend here is 80% Merlot with 20% Cabernet Franc, and it'saged in new oak on the recommendations of then-consultant Michel Rolland. The 1998 received 2 stars out of 3 from the respected French wine guide Guide Hachette des Vins.
