The M. Marengo 2018 Barolo shows a lean and luminous appearance with delicate aromas of pressed rose, cassis, earth and a twist of orange peel. That citrusy note adds a lot of freshness and energy to the bouquet. The fruit blended here comes from the Serradenari, Boiolo, Fossati and Roncaglie vineyards in La Morra. Some 18,000 bottles were produced.

A straightforward, fresh red-berry nose. Medium-bodied. Racy feel to this, with very fine firm tannins and some good, fresh length. Best from 2023.
