Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Pauillac 1988 750ml

The 1988 Pichon Comtesse is a wine that has reached its full maturity, offering a unique expression of Pauillac's terroir. With a deep garnet color and an intriguing bouquet of earth, black currants, licorice, and tobacco, this wine reveals its complexity with every sip. Medium-bodied and with a sweet mid-palate, it is balanced by a subtle but rugged tannic structure that provides depth and character. As the finish gradually attenuates, the wine’s earthy nuances linger. Now fully evolved, this vintage is at its best and should be enjoyed in the next few years, offering a refined and rich experience for those seeking the classic elegance of Pichon-Lalande.

« Like the creation of a brand-new blend, music, through its vibrations and the unique way it resonates, has this incredible power of plunging us into our inner silence, into our most intimate emotions.
Each tune chosen forges close ties with wine and history, our history, that of Pichon Comtesse. Where were we? What did we feel? Which path did we take? And what about you? What will you feel? That’s how wine is set to music… » Nicolas Glumineau
