The 2016 Château Cissac is a well-regarded Bordeaux that captures the essence of the Médoc with a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. It features an expressive, lively bouquet of blackberry and blueberry aromas, complemented by a mineral edge and developing tension. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, crisp acidity, and excellent structure. The finish is focused and long, showcasing the wine's potential for aging. Overall, it's considered a very good contribution to the vintage and a wine that should evolve beautifully over the next decade.

The 2016 Cissac has an attractive, quite lively and vivacious bouquet with well defined blackberry and blueberry fruit, commendable mineralité and tension developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, crisp acidity, good grip in the mouth with a focused and quite long finish. This is an excellent contribution to the vintage from Château Cissac and it should be (fingers crossed) good value.
