Balance, power, precision
Third Classified Growth of 1855, perfectly balanced, the Grand Vin of Château Lagrange reflects the ultimate harmony between the three grape varieties cultivated here, with a strong predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and Petit Verdot. Vinified from the oldest vines of the estate, then aged for twenty-one months in half-new barrels, it shows the concentration and ageing potential of a great wine. Already powerful and brilliant in its youth, a slow and serene evolution will bring out a delicacy expressed by the precision of flavours
