Tasted blind. Deep, lustrous crimson. Not much nose. Correct, satin-textured palate. Good-quality fruit, well selected for fairly early drinking. Luscious and almost sweet.

It is this terroir, unique and different from that of Léoville Poyferré, which inspired its revival, guided by the intuition of Didier Cuvelier.
