The 2019 Château Gazin is a refined and expressive Pomerol, shaped by a Merlot-dominant blend and crafted with elegance and precision. Bursting with ripe red and black fruit, it layers in notes of truffle, dark chocolate, and subtle spice, all wrapped in a velvety, full-bodied texture. A rich, full and heady nose. On the palate there's ripe blackcurrant, red cherries, raspberries and strawberries but also some mint, black pepper and truffle. Excellent precision and density with a seductive dark chocolate edge. Feels well handled with a sense of classicism. A powerful, muscular and confident wine, but with suppleness - this has density but also grace with a cooling finish comprising liquorice, mint and soft salinity. A great wine.

A perfumed nose of mulberries, plums, chocolate orange and cloves. Hints of toffee, too. Medium-to full-bodied with firm, ripe tannins. Caressing, velvety and rich core of dark fruit. So supple and polished. 88.5% merlot, 7% cabernet sauvignon and 4.5% cabernet franc. Drink after 2024.

The 2019 Gazin is a fleshy, dramatic wine that wafts from the glass with aromas of ripe berry fruit mingled with subtle hints of truffle and violets, its new oak already entirely integrated. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless, it's broad and textural, with lively acids, powdery tannins and fine length on the finish.

88.5% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4.5% Cabernet Franc.
Dark garnet with soft rim. Lots of inviting fruit sweetness here, enhanced by some sweet oak spice. Smooth tannins, rounded and surprisingly approachable but with a dark savoury depth still to be revealed.

eminine and seductive, due to the dominance of the Merlot, Château GAZIN’s wines can be enjoyed after a few years in the bottle, but usually they are worth laying down for fifteen, twenty years or more.
Their sumptuous generosity offers a wide aromatic range of red and black fruit which harmonizes with their intense crimson or garnet red colour.
They typically offer hints of plum, chocolate, coffee or liquorice, with aromas of almonds, toast, tobacco and vanilla, and a minty freshness.
With maturity they develop a spicy nose, with a hint of truffles, notes of undergrowth, game, fur and leather.
