Carillon Brunello di Montalcino Tuscany 2015 750ml

The La Togata 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Carillon is a refined and dynamic wine made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso. It features a deep ruby-red color with garnet hues and an ethereal, complex bouquet of wild berries, cassis, and subtle spice, smoke, and camphor. The wine is full-bodied with integrated acidity, soft tannins, and a long finish. Aged for three years in Slavonian oak barrels and a further 12 months in the bottle, it has excellent aging potential. Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this Brunello showcases elegance and power.

A more floral and subtle Brunello than most 2015s with tulips, citrus and raspberries. Tightly strung, medium-bodied and precisely taut on the finish. Zesty acidity. Drink now.

The La Togata 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Carillon reveals wild berry and cassis with spice, smoke and camphor ash. The wine offers integrated acidity and lots of little spicy details on the close that could stand up to a pairing of boiled meat or pasta with game sauce, either wild boar or hare. About 12,000 bottles were produced.
