2018 was a great year in Bordeaux, and the second wine from Chateau Batailley was in top form. The scent develops a rich dark berry fruit underlaid with cherries and exotic spices, the taste is dense, compact. D and supple with ripe, delicately noticeable tannins. It brings a lot of Bordeaux into the glass for affordable money, which is a real pleasure.
