Two Hands Waterfall Block Shiraz 2020 750ml

In the 2020 range, this 2020 Waterfall Block Waterfall Gully Road Burnside Shiraz is sweet and soft, but after 40 minutes or so in the glass, the wine has started to throw off some of its sweet fruit and really lean into the earthy tannins that hold it together. Very smart and getting better with every minute that passes.

A complexing steep site that needs to be seen to be believed: It has many short steep rows that are protected from the early morning light from the highest point of the Mount Lofty Ranges behind and again by the searing late day sun from a steep hillside to the north. This is an amazing micro climate that allows the low-yielding vines to ripen at their leisure with a canopy that keeps moving along with minimal stress.
Soil: Shallow red clays over deep deposits of slate, shale and limestone
Aspect :Western
Row orientation East to West
Vine age: 26 years old
Elevation:177m
Sub district: Burnside,Adelaide
