Two Hands Samantha's Garden Shiraz 2019 750ml

A bit shy and understated next to the other Garden series wines, the 2019 Samantha's Garden Shiraz features smooth, integrated notes of red berries, mint and subtle oak shadings. It's medium to full-bodied, supple and easy-drinking. It would be my pick of the wines to drink over the next few years, but it shows enough soft, dusty tannin and length on the finish to think it will still be going strong in 2030.

SAMANTHA'S GARDEN is made from our finest barrels of Clare Valley Shiraz
An elegant style that is typical of the Clare Valley region, characterised by bright lively aromas, subtle fruit flavours and fine grained tannins. Produced from the fruit of up to three distinct sub-regions with vastly different soil profiles. The elevation of these sites give the wine a more natural acidity and provide a natural lively fine-bone profile. Between Adelaide and the Clare Valley the landscape is sea of golden yellow wheat fields, an obvious choice for this label's colour.
Sub-regions: Armagh, Watervale, White Hut.
Vine age: 20-25 years Altitude 400m
Average Rainfall: 480-550mm
Soil Type: Grey, silty loam with sandstone/sandy loam on clay with slate/Red-brown earth over limestone.
