Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Des Laurets reveals notes of baked blackberries, plum preserves and dried cherries with wafts of dried leaves and wild thyme. The medium-bodied palate is soft and well-focused with oodles of straightforward plums and earthy flavors and a lively lift to the finish.
